Aug 14th Race moved to 15th
With the rains we had yesterday, some showers this morning andthe cooler temperatures, we’re going to move the race to what looks like a very nice sunny Sunday afternoon showTimes will be as follows;Spectators gate open at 01:30 p.m. with racing at 02:00 p.m.Competitor’s gates open at 09:00 a.m. with tech open by 09:30 a.m.Practice for Evolution & Hornet is from 09:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Practice for other classes will be from 10:35 a.m. to 01:15 p.m.  Flag Meeting at 01:35 p.m. followed by qualifying at 02:00 p.m.

A huge thank you to EVERYONE who took time to come down to the 5th Annual Drive For Toys held Saturday, November 14, 2009. 

 

WOW....what a success.  We literally filled a cube van with donations of toys.  It was incredible.  According to the Santa Claus Fund coordinator, it is estimated that we collected in excess of $7500 worth of toys. 

MHARA,  would like to thank Ross Statham (IMCA STOCK # 14), Trevor Stratton (BOMBER #16), Mitch Stovka (STREET # 66), Jonathon Rissling (Bomber # 14) and Mark Vaselenak and Rob Johnson (HORNET CAR) for towing the cars to Walmart and being around to help with pictures, donations and lots and lots of PR.  Also thanks to Nicole and Alisha Stratton, Hannah, Carol Marr, Breanne and Katie Stovka, Rob Mogck and Bob Matthews for your support. 

MHARA would like to acknowledge and thank the ALL NATION'S OPTIMIST CLUB for partnering with us in this venture.  Without you it would not have been the huge success that it was. 

ALL money, toys,  and food are donated directely to the Medicine Hat News Santa Claus Fund to help out those less fortunate at Christmas.

Christmas is for Children and MHARA is doing its part to make sure that children of Medicine Hat  will have a magical Christmas morning.

 If you didn't make it down to Walmart please join us on November 26 at the Royal Bank Parking Lot to roast some hotdogs and partake in Medicine Hat's Midnight Madness.  MHARA will be there from 5 - 9 and hope to see you all.
