MHARA PRESENTS a new and exciting opportunity to take part in
one of the most exciting and accelerating sports there is.

With the introduction of the hornets, an affordable way to race is
back in Southern Alberta on a weekly basis, there will be a free
safety and how to build a car school (when and where to be announce).
Some of the topics to be discussed to help the driver and potential participants
will be as follows:

-Types of helmet, gloves, driving suit, neck braces,seat and safety harness
How to mount the seat in the cage.
-Why a roll cage is important / types of usuable tubing & mounting
-Open discussion on how racing is to conducted.

Starting off with how to get on and off the track safely.
Why the track officials are always right. Thus insuring your own safety
and the others around you.

Flags and what they mean.

The difference between dirt and asphalt as it pertains to the line and
positioning as the race takes place.

Chassis tuning.

A demonstration of how to set and read camber and caster.

This will take us into the fundamentals of how the cars should work and
react to the adjustments.

CHRISTMAS HAMPER DELIVERY 2009

On December 19, 2009 members of Medicine Hat Auto Racing Association and All Nation's

Optimist Club were out in full force making Christmas a little brighter for many Medicine Hat Families.

Thanks to Mitch Stovka, John Hoffensetz, Gail Marr, Carol Marr, Bob Matthews,

De Matthews, Scott McKee, Austin Buchholz (taking pic), Jean Greewood and

Lee Greenwood (not in pic).

It was a good feeling to know that MHARA and All Nations Optimist members could make

such a difference in the holiday season.

Some of our members made a very big mpression on the Santa Claus Fund coordinators

so ask Mitch about it next time you see him.

Again a huge thanks to everyone who participated in Stuff A Stock Car 2009

and helped in any way to make this holiday season memorable.

On behalf of the executive and members of Medicine Hat Auto Racing Association, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped to make 2009 such a huge success.
